Visitor Code of Conduct
Studley Wood is a very relaxed and informal golf club but we do require that soft spiked or spikeless golf shoes and recognised golfing attire are worn whilst using the Golf Course. We are proud of our course and ask all players to respect it. Please ensure that bunkers are raked, divots and pitch-marks are repaired and avoid causing any unnecessary damage to the course. How you treat the course directly impacts those that follow you! Whilst on the course, show respect for all others whether they are your playing partners, opponents or our green-keeping staff. Remain aware of your surroundings and look out for the safety of others. Load music and loutish behaviour is not tolerated. Play at a prompt pace and if you believe there is a chance your ball may be lost, play a provisional. If you decide to search for a ball, signal to the group following you to play through if it is apparent that the ball will not be easily found. The club is committed to ensure that the sport of golf is one within which children and young people involved can thrive and flourish in a safe environment and that all children, young people and adults at risk have a fun, safe and positive experience when playing golf. Studley Wood Golf Club is an affiliated member of England Golf and wholeheartedly supports SafeGolf. Thank you and Enjoy your Game.
